Happy Halloween from Road Rash Reviews!

Well, it’s that time again, the clocks have turned back, the nights are drawing in and thoughts begin to turn to spooky matters, it’s almost Halloween!

There are plenty of good Halloween offerings out there this year, and Road Rash have put together a selection of entertainment for your perusal this All Hallow’s Eve.

Gangoul and TricksyIf you’re looking for something for the whole family, then why not try out Gangoul and Tricksy for your little ones, an animated iBook that really brings out the spirit of the occasion. Or for slightly older kids, there’s  Friday Download; The Movie starring the presenters of the popular CBBC show and The Vamps.

Tokyo Ghoul coverIf you fancy a spooky mini-series, British drama The Enfield Haunting is absolutely brilliant and for the anime fans among you, the gloriously gory Tokyo Ghoul is the way forward (although don’t forget it is 18 certificate, whatever you do don’t buy it for your kids!).

Of course, Halloween should be all about the horror, and for adult horror fans there are plenty of new releases this year to get your teeth into. Some are better than others but we enjoyed each and every one of them.

FrightFest Presents have six new releases for Halloween, we have reviewed three of them for you here, Some Kind Of Hate, The Sand and Estranged.

Here are some of the other films we have reviewed for you which would be perfect Halloween viewing. If you’re into Zombies, then you can’t go far wrong with Zombieworld, starring the fabulous Bill Oberst Jr. and Zombie Fight Club, an Indian production which is an interesting take on the genre.

Let Us Prey coverIf you follow the franchise then Insidious 3 is now out, plus a selection of horrors starring some big names, Knock Knock with Keanu Reeves, Pay the Ghost with Nicholas Cage and Let Us Prey with Liam Cunningham of Game of Thrones fame.

We Are Still Here offers a classic haunted house story, WER gives us a new spin on the Werewolf genre and Houses of Halloween is a terrifying documentary style found footage film.

Something for everyone. So get your costumes on, assemble your treats and/or tricks and let’s all have a great time this Halloween. Stay safe and above all HAVE FUN!
