Arnie Delivers Back in the 80s’.

From STUDIOCANAL comes one of Arnold Schwarzenegger (Red Heat, Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, Commando, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Aftermath) classic action films. Directed by John Irvin (Hamburger Hill, The Dogs of War), from a story of Sergio Leone‘s (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, A Fistful of Dynamite) screenwriters Luciano Vincenzoni (For a Few Dollars More, Seduced and Abandoned) and Sergio Donati (Once Upon a Time in the West, They Believed He Was No Saint). Lock and Load.

Men come by train, boat and car to all meet in the middle of nowhere, they all have automatic weapons, plus a sniper. These are Don Luigi Patrovita’s (Sam Wanamaker, Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, Judgement in Berlin) men and one of his family has turned to the FBI for protection, but there is a mole in the FBI. Now the mob is ready to pay the turncoat a visit. They massacre all the FBI agents and then the informant.

So ya wanna be a witness? Witness this!

Unfortunately, one of those agents killed was the beloved son of a Senior FBI agent, Harry Shannon (Darren McGavin, Mission Mars, Airport ’77), and when he sees his son’s body he swears revenge on Patrovita, but he cannot use the usual channels due to the mole.

Ex FBI agent Mark Kaminski (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is now the sheriff of a small town, much to the dismay of his now alcoholic wife Amy (Blanche Baker, Sixteen Candles, The Girl Next Door), he was forced out of the agency because of excessive force on a murderer. It was either resign or prosecution. Mark is in the process of catching a crook impersonating a motorcycle cop.

You shouldn’t drink and bake.

Mark gets a call late at night from Shannon, he dangles a carrot under Mike’s nose to get him to infiltrate Patrovita’s mob and take it down from the inside, and he might want to use Patrovita’s rival Martin Lamanski (Steven Hill, Billy Bathgate, Law & Order (TV Series)). With the possibility of getting back in the agency he agrees. But no one will know except the two of them, Mark will use Harry’s savings to set himself up along with a borrowed identity. He must get in to win over Patrovita’s right-hand man Paulo Rocca (Paul Shenar, Scarface, The Secret of N-I-M-H) who is a very suspicious man.

Will Mark be able to penetrate the mob and get Shannon the revenge he needs, or will he be led by the nose by Max’s girlfriend Monique (Kathryn Harrold, Yes, Giorgio, Into the Night). For those that can remember the 80s, this is a true slice of the action. With explosions, car chases, and lots and lots of bullets.
