Today we welcome Cheryl Bullock to the RRR question room to interview aspiring Actress, Singer, Writer and Director, here is what we asked and how she responded.
1.What gave you the inspiration to write/ direct your short film Zombie Attack?
My inspiration of why I chose to write/direct my short film is because I love watching Shaun of the Dead and I also had experience on being on set on Case Files written and directed by Damien L. Kage, which also had me being a zombie.
2: Do you have any other ideas for films?
I have loved Labryrinth (David Bowie ) and I’m hoping to be in Labyrinth 2 sometime soon.
3: If you could be a super hero/villain, who would you love to be and why?
I would love to be Batgirl because I love her elegance, strength, and also she is Batman’s cousin which is so cool.
4: Who would be your favourite actor/actress to star along side?
I love alot I actresses and their work, but only one stands out who shares my surname, Sandra Bullock. Every movie she has done and continues to do is so inspiring. I would love to meet her one day.
5: What type/style of music do you like to play?
My style of music I like to play is pop and rock.
I have just bought my first guitar so I am learning to play that to my favourite David Bowie, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift music.
6: We hear you are recording your first album, please tell us about it.
It is called ‘Discovered’ it’s all about having another chance at being who you want to be and never letting anyone or anything stop you from achieving your dreams
7: Who are your musical heroes?
Well, my first hero would be David Bowie. I have loved his music ever since I seen Labyrinth and now I just can’t stop singing his songs, either when I’m at Open Mic competions or in my spare time, I just love him as a person, creator, and artist.
My 2nd hero is Shane Filan, as I have the same birthday as him, I seen him 18 times with Westlife, and I hope to meet him someday.
And my 3rd hero/heroine is Jessie j, I love her style (which I love to dress as her too) and she has a amazing voice.
8: Who would you like to collaborate with on your next album?
Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, or Jessie j.
9: What are your plans for the rest of 2016?
I am currently auditioning for both The Voice at Filthys pub at Nottingham on Tuesday March 8th, and also The X Factor at the Intu Victoria Centre at Nottingham on Saturday 12th March.
I am also still working in my album, which I am hoping will be complete by the summer.
