Wizards and a Celestial Mess.

Release 18 is season seven of the magical Fairy Tail by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online II, World Conquest: Zvezda Plot, Magi: The Kingdom of Magic) and tells the end of the “Grand Magic Games” arc and the great beginning of the “Eclipse Celestial Spirits” arc, where there is mutiny in the air.

The Fairy Tail Guild has been victorious in the Grand Magical Games and now it is the aftermath and Grey is melancholy, due to the fact that his life was forfeit until Ultear used her power to turn back time (even if it was just a short period of time) thus saving him. He didn’t know about this nor did anyone else until an old woman informs him about the events and her huge sacrifice. When he spots the old woman out the back of a wagon he realises that she is Ultear and she is content with her life now that she has atoned for her previous life.

Fairy Tail returns to Magnolia to a hero’s welcome and they show off the spoils of their victory, now they are the number one guild they are presented with a fully restored grand guildhall.

“Could you use your head just once?!”

“I already tried that and it hurt!”

Now that they are finally back home they need to get out there and do some jobs. Natsu and friends find a job where a village has been flooded with mud and the culprit is a mole (a giant mudskipper). Thinking that this will be an easy job, they head out in boats to capture their quarry. It is just like all Fairy Tail jobs in that they never go to plan. The mole chases the wizards all over the mud filled village and seems to take a particular liking to the mud covered Lucy. It turns out the mole is a male and he is looking for a mate and everybody knows how to catch the mole except Lucy.

Once captured Virgo appears and brings along another mole, this one is a giant crayfish but one look at each other and they fall in love and head off into the distance, leaving everybody happy and relieved.

But there is darkness in the air as first leader Mavis finds Zeref in the woods near Magnolia and even though he cannot see her he feels he presence and they have a conversation that leads to Zeref saying that he will destroy all of humanity.

“I swear Fairy Tail will stop you, they will wipe your stain from this land.”

After a few other escapades the new arc begins, Earthland is suffering great changes in the weather as deserts turn to tundra and places flood and dry up all over the planet. Lucy and Natsu take on a job that sends them to a remote area. When they arrive it is obvious that this isn’t a good job. They are attacked by a giant sea slug that Natsu has to deal with due to Lucy’s inability to summon any of her zodiac’s.

It turns that it was a trap set by Lucy and Yukino’s Zodiac’s, they want to be free and they have broken their contracts with the pair and want to be completely free from shackles to humans.
