A Turkish Tragedy.

It’s the summer of British comedy crime as A Gangster’s Kiss by writer, director, producer, actor Ray Burdis (Operation Good Guys (TV Series), The Wee Man) comes hot on the heals of co-writer’s Michael Head‘s (Worth a Flutter, The Last Heist) Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire . A Gangster’s Kiss is where Britain’s favourite actors and actresses get together for this wrong-side-of-the-law romp.

I’m pretty sure that this is not P.C., but it definitely covers all the bases.

Danny (Daniel O’Reilly, Fanged Up, The Awakening), Jack (Charlie Clapham, Hollyoaks (TV Series), The Hooligan Factory), and Marmite (Perry Benson, Sid and Nancy, This Is England) have been friends since they were kids, and Danny has always had the ability to get Jack to do anything, normally something that is on the wrong side of the law.

He has this effect on him through the years until he can take no more, then he diversifies, trying his hands at sport, then finds that acting is his passion, while Danny and Marmite follow in the family tradition of being gangsters. The family is run by Danny’s mother and father Sadie (Michelle Collins, Two Thousand Acres of Sky, EastEnders (TV Show)) and Don (Martin Kemp, The Krays, Top Dog). Jack becomes a well known actor, and when he gets a roll as a gangster, he turns to his old family for inspiration.

Let the chaos begin.

The family has problems with the Turks, Mus (Vas Blackwood, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Mean Machine), and Mem (John Hannah, The Mummy, Four Weddings and a Funeral). This is where Jack gets to show off his skills at calamity, while family fixer Ray (Michael Head) has his own agenda.
