The Legend Returns

Influential writer/director David Twohy (The Fugitive, Pitch Black) brings back his dark baby in the guise of The Chronicles of Richard Bruno Riddick, the man wanted all across the known universe. After his exploits in Pitch Black, Riddick went into hiding to keep all those that survived the hell planet safe, but now he is back and in 4K. This is the must own limited edition (with the director’s cut, which has sixteen added minutes) for any Riddick fan.

Five years have passed since Riddick (Vin Diesel, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fast and the Furious), (Jack)-Kyra (Alexa Davalos, Clash of the Titans, The Mist), and Abu ‘Imam’ al-Walid (Keith David, The Thing, Armageddon) escaped the hell planet, and for their safety (whether they liked it or not) he disappeared, so they didn’t get involved with the plethora of bounty hunters after him. However, one has caught up with him on the frozen planet of U. V. and now Toombs (Nick Chinlund, Training Day, Con Air) and his crew are hot on his heels, but as usual Riddick is always two steps ahead of his opponents.

Riddick finds out where the bounty came from and with Toombs out of the way Riddick heads to the Planet Helion Prime and the city of New Mecca where Imam lives, (the man that set the bounty). Imam is working with Aeroeon (Judi Dench, Skyfall, Shakespeare in Love) who believes that the warrior race, the Furyan’s, can save the universe from the Necromonger threat, as they plough their way through galaxies, killing or converting anyone in their path.

Now Riddick is pitted against a whole race of murderous fanatics, led by the Lord Marshal (Colm Feore, Thor, Face/Off), a job up for the taking, if you are brave enough. That person is Dame Vaako (Thandiwe Newton, Mission: Impossible II, Westworld (TV Series)), but the person that has to carry it out is her husband Vaako (Karl Urban, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Star Trek).

Get ready for the action. If you are a Riddick fan, this 4k release is right up your street.
