Last weekend saw our intrepid reporters brave the British weather and transport system to head over to the NEC in Birmingham to cover the 2014 MCM Birmingham ComicCon.
Everything cosplay was there, from the usual millions of Deadpools and Star Wars characters, to a patrol of Colonial Marines and a very friendly looking xenomorph!
There were the usual selection of stars signing autographs for you, as well as panel events ranging from the stars of sci-fi series to technical talks.
It was also nice to see some of our favourite distributors at the show. Arrow Video have provided transfers of some of the most interesting films of the last several decades and, of course, the aptly named Manga UK who have been bringing the UK Japanese animation for well over twenty five years and who are the mainstay of anime in the UK .
As if that weren’t enough, there were stalls selling everything from things to help make your cosplay even more realistic, to helping you complete your favourite anime series, to helping fill out your need for classic film posters.
But it wasn’t all dressing up and anime at the show. There were also fighting robots from robotslive.co.uk!
