Next we are throwing our hands across the Atlantic to greet our next interviewee, Canadian born Megan Lockhurst.
1: How did you find out about Essex Boys: Law of Survival?
– I have met Steven M Smith on another set and had kept in contact with him via facebook. When LOS came up, Steven messaged me and asked if I would be interested in the role of Judy, a Canadian cop with some darker secrets. As soon as I read the script I was hooked.
2: Are there/ what are the similarities/ differences between Canadian/ British living?
– There are many differences and similarities between Canucks and Brits, but the main one I noticed was the food. If you love big outrageous meals, no one knows how to cook them up like the Canadians! I’m now used to English food, though I still order Canada bits through online websites.
3: What is your favourite genre of film?
– My favourite genre has to be horror. I am a big paranormal nut and love a good fright.
4: What would be your dream role?
– My dream role would be something gritty and full of action. I’d love to play a Lara Croft type character. Just something about leather and riding a motorcycle while taking out the baddies that I just find so appealing.
5: What musical would you remake and star in?
– Would it be too obvious if I said Grease? I’ve always loved that era!
6: What superhero would you most want to play?
– Definitely Iron Man. Though a female version. Then again Black Widow is very cool as well.
