Next up is RRR’s old pal Mark Sears, this is what we asked
1: How did you get involved in Essex Boys: Law of Survival?
It was actually Jemima Slade that linked me up with Mark Windham which lead to my involvement with the Essex Boys L.O.S project, it was all a bit last minute and originally I was only potentially going to be a featured extra, which a lot of people advised me not to do as I was coming off the back of much bigger main cast roles, however I felt drawn to the project and saw this as a good networking opportunity, there was a few people there that I wanted to meet, so I drove down with my good friend fellow ‘Freeman New World Order ‘ actor and former pro wrestler Mat Holt, to cut a long story short, we went in as potentially only featured extras.
2: What was your main role in Essex Boys: Law of Survival?
Speaking to the director Steven M Smith and letting him know what we had to offer we ended being the main fighting focus of the scene and choreographing fights for the other actors in the scene we walked away 3 imdb credits actor/stunts/fight choreography and met some awesome people in the process and our footage was also used in the trailer, so not bad for a days work!
3: How is the busy life of Mr Sears?
Life is really great right now, we’ve just wrapped on ‘Jack Mulligan ‘ a film by Andy Nolan Directed by Tom Begley and filmed by D.O.P Sean Cronin that features former middle weight boxing champion ‘Steve Collins’ Noel Razor Smith’ and many more fantastic actors, I play Quinner in the movie, I’m also very excited to be going to the cast and crew screening of ‘The Recovery ‘ a film by Jon Bailie and Aj Singh, I play Russian Crime boss ‘ Dmitry ‘ in the movie.
4: What motivates you to get up in the morning?
The thing that gets me out of bed in the morning is my love and passion for this industry and the opportunity to keep pushing myself to grow more and more as a person and as an artist, it’s tough sometimes and there are some hard lessons to be learnt but as long as you stay true to your vision and keep pushing forwards, you will succeed.
5: Since meeting in the cold wet Flint castle what has been the highlight of your year?
There’s some really exciting times ahead and I’ve been in some talks about some great projects set to shoot in 2016, so please watch this space!
